Undergrid TCG Tutorial

Everything important about the duel in one place, so onboarding leaves the battlefield and the live match stays cleaner.

1. Objective

Break the enemy core before they break yours. Pressure resolves by column: if your lane is open, damage goes straight into the enemy core.

2. 3x3 battlefield

Your network lives in the lower half and the opposing network above. Adjacency matters: buffs, relay, support, and several synergies only work if the right piece is next to the target.

3. Turn flow

Arm a card, deploy or execute it, adjust your pressure, then end the turn. After that the table resolves impacts, heat, and destruction.

4. Resources

Energy pays costs, Heat tracks thermal risk, and Output represents the real industrial pressure of your network. High output wins games; too much heat loses them.

5. Card types

MODULE occupies the board. EVENT alters the state instantly. UPGRADE improves existing modules. SYNERGY rewards relay, heat, or network conditions.

6. Scan order

Read the board first, then turn ownership, then your hand. After that check resources and forecast before committing. If you cannot improve the board, end the turn with intent.

Quick tips

Do not curve out blindly if it pushes you into overheat.
An open column is worth more than a pretty buff on a blocked lane.
Relay and support scale better once you already have board presence.
If a card needs a target, read the board glow first before forcing a play.
